Work is due Thursday and should be in cursive.

English
Unit 5 is on capitalization and punctuation.
Test will most likely be on Monday, January 26th!

We will also be studying friendly letter writing!

Writing
We will be incorporating letter writing into our writing activities!

Reading
We will be practicing our reading strategies with a novel called, Snow Treasure. Ask your child what it is about!

Science
Chapter 11, Lesson 1 is about volume, physical properties of matter and density (float/sink).
Review this lesson with your child.

Social Studies

Chapter 9-Economy-
We have learned about opportunity cost, economic choice, suppy, demand, goods and services.

Please return the project form, (students got this on Wed. 1/14) signed, and I will send it back home, after I stamp it.

The Chapter 9 test will be around Tues., Jan. 27 or Wed. the 28th!

Math
We will start chapter 14, on geometry, next!
Chapter 5-We have focused on money and now time!
