Indoor Recess!

“Spakausky’s Scoop”
Jan-12-16

Dear Parents-

IOWA TESTING IS UPON US!
January 12-15, 2009
Attention 3rd grade parents:
I just wanted to share some tips for getting your student prepared for the IOWA tests coming up next week. It is always important for your student to showcase his/her best efforts during these types of tests and here are some things to keep in mind.
Please remind your student to:
*Get a good night's sleep
*Eat a healthy breakfast in the mornings
*Understand the use of their calculator (they can use them on parts of the math test so it is to their advantage to practice how to use one)
*Bring a healthy snack to school each day
*Have sharpened number 2 pencils with good erasers ready for the tests each day
*Have a silent reading book ready for when they finish
*Not worry and try their best!
Thank you for your support!
