Math: Chapter 18 is next!

Ask your child.

They should be able to tell you. :)


Mad Minute 12's are next week and the week after, since we only have two days of math next week.


Spelling: Spelling lesson will connect with our biography lesson.

If your child got a 100% on the pretest, they don't have to take the post-test on Thursday. There is no alternate list this week.

Math-We are working on chapter 14 in geometry. The test will be on Wed., 1/20!

English-We are studying chapter 5 on capitalization and punctuation and we are learning about friendly letter writing!



Reading-Snow Treasure
We have started reading this very interesting novel. Have your child tell you what it is about, so far!!!



Science-Welcome to Space! We are done with Chapter 10, Lesson 3 on the planets and our solar system. We have started reading Lesson 1 about why we have SEASONS. Ask your child if they remember why we have seasons.????



Social Studies-Chapter 3 is coming to an end. We will not have a test on this chapter. In place of the test the students will be presenting about their culture/heritage on "Culture Day." Information about this was sent home Wednesday! If parents need to come in and help with the presentation, please e-mail me and let me know what time is good for you.
